When is my utility bill due?

Bills are due on the 15th of each month.  After the due date, a 10% penalty is added.  If it isn't paid by the 25th of the month, services are disconnected.  If the 15th or the 25th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, bills are due on the following Monday.

Do I get my meter deposit back?

Yes, when service is disconnected or put in another person's name, final readings are taken and a final bill prepared.  The meter deposit is then applied to the remaining balance.  If there are any monies remaining, that amount is returned to the occupant.

How do I resume utility services after they've been disconnected?

During Business Hours: Call City Hall, (918) 255-6045. If you are disconnected, there is a $100.00 reconnect fee added to your bill if it is reconnected DURING normal business hours.  

After Business Hours: After business hours, there is a $100.00 reconnect charge and they are to contact the Maintenance Department 620-515-0030.

How do I get bulky trash items picked up?

If a bulk item needs to be picked up, they will need to call city hall, (918) 255-6045, and the city will notify the town's waste management provider, Waste Connections.

Where is the city dump?

The Town of South Coffeyville doesn't have a city trash dump, but we do have a town clean-up twice per year.  The closest City Dump that residents are allowed to use is in Bartlesville, OK. Residents would need to call the Osage Landfill in Bartlesville, OK for more information (918) 336-3159.

When will my dumpster and trash cans get picked up?

Polycarts and Bulk Items are picked up on Mondays starting at 5 a.m.

Dumpsters are serviced on Monday and Thursday.

When and where is municipal court?

The Town of South Coffeyville Municipal Court is held the last Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm (excluding holidays) at City Hall, 419 Willow Street.

Please check your ticket for your exact court date. If you have any questions, please call the Court Clerk’s Office at (918) 255-6045.

What are the qualifications to be a Town Councilor?

The board of trustees shall consist of five (5) members who shall be nominated and elected at large without regard to their place of residence within the corporate limits of the Town of South Coffeyville. Trustees shall be actual residents and registered voters of the Town.

What are the rules on shooting off fireworks in South Coffeyville town limits?

Ignition, use or discharge may take place on June 15th through July 5th, and December 31st and January 1st of each year.  

Inside the Town limits of South Coffeyville, hours of ignition, use, or discharge will be Sunday through Thursday (excluding the 3rd and 4th of July) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, and including July 3rd and 4th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.  December 31st and January 1st between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on the 31st and 12:30 a.m. on January 1st of each year (amended 07/18/2016)

Do I need a permit to sell fireworks in South Coffeyville?

Yes

Any person selling or offering to sell fireworks shall first receive a permit from the town and pay a permit fee in such sum as set by the town board.  No sales or stands may take place on town property.

How do I change my City Court date?

To change your City Court date you'll need to call City Hall, (918) 255-6045, and speak to the Court Clerk or Deputy Clerk.  We are allowed to pass the citation (s) one time to the next month's court date.
